Wiandre Pretorius takes his own lifeNtandoyenkosi...Sun, 02/08/2026 - 11:00 BRAKPAN, GP - Former police reservist, Wiandre Pretorius, has taken his own life. He allegedly shot himself at a petrol station in Brakpan, Gauteng, this morning. A video of the killing is already circulating on social media. National Police Spokesperson, Athlenda Mathe, says Pretorius was a person of interest in Witness D's murder. Witness D had implicated Pretorius at the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.Pretorius was also implicated in the murder of a Emmanuel Mbense in 2022.
