Fil-Canadian Kayla Sanchez breaks own record at U Sports championships
Filipino Canadian Olympic swimmer Kayla Sanchez reset her own record in the women’s 50-meter freestyle and continued a dominant run for the University of British Columbia Thunderbirds at the U Sports Swimming Championships. Sanchez clocked 24.03 seconds in the sprint event, breaking the previous championship record of 24.18 that she set at last year’s meet.
