Sport as a Force That Moves People Forward Sport has long been an important part of Toyota Motor Asia's Move Your World promise, reflecting the belief that movement is not only about travelling from one place to another, but also about having the opportunity to participate, pursue ambitions and progress. Across moments of victory and defeat, the journeys of Toyota's athletes reflect this in various ways, from adapting to new sporting pathways and reaching new levels of competition, to inspiring the next generation and creating impact within their communities. Through its partnerships with athletes and sporting communities, Toyota Motor Asia seeks to support this spirit of progress across the region. Since 2018, Toyota has partnered with more than 20 Global Team Toyota Athletes in Asia, supporting athletes across different markets, abilities and sporting disciplines as they work towards their goals on the international stage. As they represent their countries at Aichi-Nagoya 2026, we are proud to stand alongside them, celebrate their journeys and support the communities they inspire," said Preston Tan, Vice President, Toyota Motor Asia. Moving Through a Shared Beat Sport is one of the most powerful ways to move people, but the feelings it creates—hope, excitement, belonging and shared pride—can extend beyond the sporting arena. Music carries a similar ability to transcend language, bring together different voices and create shared experiences across communities. As part of Toyota Motor Asia's regional Move Your World brand platform, Move Your World Beat is a music-led activation that brings together six musicians from across Asia to explore self-expression, connection and collective identity through sound. Toyota Motor Asia is bringing this idea to life through six original tracks, each created by a different artist using sounds sampled from Toyota vehicles and blending them with the musical influences, instruments and cultural identities of their respective markets. The result is six distinct interpretations of what it means to move, each shaped by a different voice and sense of place. These individual tracks will ultimately come together in one regional collaboration, bringing different sounds and perspectives into a shared beat. By combining their individual contributions into one composition, Move Your World Beat shows how different voices can retain their distinct identities while contributing to something greater together. The athletes' journeys demonstrate how sport can create opportunities, challenge perceptions and bring people together—and how movement, in its many different forms, can help move the world forward. The Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games are taking place from 19 September to 4 October 2026, followed by the Asian Para Games from 18 to 24 October 2026. XtalPi Submits U.S. FDA IND Application for KQTD-126, a Potential First-in-Class, Gut-Restricted Pan-TRK Inhibitor for Chronic Intestinal Pain
This milestone marks the first IND submission from XtalPi's proprietary pipeline, recently unveiled in its interim results, validating the company's AI and robotics-driven drug discovery platform and its transition to a clinical-stage organization. Preclinical data demonstrate sub-nanomolar potency (< 1 nM) alongside a gut-to-blood exposure ratio exceeding 1,000:1, confining pharmacological activity to the gastrointestinal tract to limit systemic exposure. The candidate is the industry's first gut-restricted pan-TRK inhibitor developed for IBS and IBD, targeting a critical therapeutic gap in the long-term management of chronic pain without the neurological liabilities of systemic inhibitors. BOSTON and SHENZHEN, CHINA , Sept. 25, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- XtalPi (HKEX: 2228), an AI- and robotics-driven drug and materials discovery company, today announced the submission of an Investigational New Drug (IND) application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for KQTD-126. Developed internally, the candidate is a potential first-in-class gut-restricted pan-tropomyosin receptor kinase (pan-TRK) inhibitor designed to treat chronic intestinal pain associated with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). IBS affects approximately 10%–15% of the global population, while more than 10 million people live with IBD. Chronic abdominal pain is a major burden for patients with IBS and can persist in some patients with IBD even when standard therapies control their underlying inflammation. Despite available treatments, additional options that provide sustained pain relief and are suitable for long-term use remain an unmet clinical need. According to BCC Research, the global IBS and IBD therapeutics market is projected to reach US$52.6 billion by 2030. KQTD-126 targets the TRK family of receptors (TRKA, TRKB, and TRKC), which directly regulate nerve activity and pain-signal amplification in the gut. While inhibiting these pathways can effectively manages this pain, TRK receptors also operate throughout the central nervous system. Consequently, traditional systemic TRK inhibitors carry a high risk of neurological side effects. A viable chronic pain treatment must therefore confine its activity strictly to the gastrointestinal tract. Achieving this precise biological profile required navigating a vast chemical space to balance target affinity and kinase selectivity with properties governing tissue distribution. To resolve these competing design objectives, XtalPi leveraged its generative and predictive AI models integrated with its fleet of automated chemistry robots. This closed-loop process of computational design, automated synthesis, empirical screening, and molecular refinement allowed the company to iterate across structural variants and achieve robust gut restriction while preserving strong target activity and selectivity. In preclinical studies, KQTD-126 achieved pan-TRK inhibition at sub-nanomolar concentrations (IC₅₀ < 1 nM) and maintained high selectivity over other kinases. The candidate also demonstrated a gut tissue-to-blood exposure ratio exceeding 1,000:1. Together, these findings support KQTD-126's development as a locally acting treatment intended to deliver sustained pain relief with a wider therapeutic window. KQTD-126 is the first program in XtalPi's proprietary pipeline to reach an IND submission since the portfolio was unveiled in the company's recent interim results. As a global scientific utility platform, XtalPi draws on a shared foundation of quantum physics, AI, and robotics to deliver discovery capabilities spanning small molecules, antibodies, peptides, siRNA therapeutics, and molecular glues. This comprehensive infrastructure empowers the company and its partners to pursue high-value targets using the modality best suited to the underlying biology. By advancing internal assets alongside established collaborations, XtalPi maximizes the impact of its technology to resolve complex drug design challenges and deliver transformative therapies for patients worldwide. About XtalPi XtalPi Holdings Limited (XtalPi, 2228.HK) was founded in 2015 by three physicists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). It is an innovative R&D platform powered by quantum physics, artificial intelligence, and robotics. By integrating first-principles calculations, AI algorithms, high-performance cloud computing, and standardized automation systems, XtalPi provides digital and intelligent R&D solutions for companies in the pharmaceutical, materials science, agricultural technology, energy, new chemicals, and cosmetics industries.

Hong Kong's First Board-Certified Veterinary Nutritionist-Developed Brand Mylo Officially Launches
Microbiome Research Confirms Inhibiting 95% of Harmful Bacteria, Collaborating with Local University Teams to Initiate Asia's Largest-Scale Canine Longevity Research HONG KONG , Sept. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Hong Kong's first Board-Certified Veterinary Nutritionist (BCVN) developed pet nutrition brand, Mylo , officially launched in June, committing to prolong the lives of dogs and cats by improving their health through nutritional science. Under the spotlight within the market and the medical community, Mylo has gained over 6 million HKD of initial funding, receiving much endorsement from frontline veterinarians, further establishing their great potential in scientific and medical research. From functional fresh meals, MyloMeals ; to precise nutrient mix, MyloMix ; to functional probiotic formulas, MyloBiome™ ; Mylo has created a comprehensive nutrition support system. Simultaneously, Mylo also announced that a collaborative clinical microbiome study with a research team from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Hong Kong Homeless Dog Shelter confirmed MyloBiome™ can inhibit 95% of harmful bacteria. To further propel pet longevity science, Mylo officially launches the largest canine fecal microbiota database and longevity research program, with the former President of Royal Canin Asia Pacific , Sylvia Burbery , as board advisor. The Fresh Food Revolution: Epilogue to the Dry Food Era Global nutritional science is undergoing a paradigm shift. The most recent Dietary Guidelines for Americans (2025-2030) introduced the "inverted pyramid" concept, clearly emphasizing the simple yet fundamental message of "eat real food," redefining the human nutritional standards. Around the same time, a one-year duration study by Cornell University in 2025 also discovered that dogs fed dry food long-term accumulate more Advanced Glycation End products (AGEs), which are substances related to chronic diseases, inflammation, and accelerated aging. Conversely, dogs fed fresh food for just one month showed significant metabolic improvements, with antioxidant and cell protection indicators increasing substantially. Mylo 's developer, Mr. Kingson Kwan states, "Feeding dogs dry food every day is equivalent to letting children eat instant noodles paired with luncheon meat and eggs every day, then saying the presence of meat and eggs makes it a healthy diet. When global nutrition guidelines sound the alarm on heavily processed food, we must apply those same nutritional standards for our furry friends. Mylo 's debut is to close the curtain on the age of dry food, and let dogs and cats enjoy real food, real nutrition." Advocacy Study States: MyloBiome™ Inhibits 95% Bad Bacteria The key to longevity is to have healthy nutrition and a healthy gut. A dog's gut microbiome affects their digestion, immunity, skin and coat, mood, and pace of aging heavily. Over 70% of immune cells reside around the gut. Mylo collaborated with a research team from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and Hong Kong Homeless Dog Shelter to do an advocate study on dogs' gut microbiome for 16 weeks. Results show that after using MyloBiome™ , i.e. functional probiotic formulas, 95% of bad bacteria became inhibited, indicating the strengthening of intestinal mucosal barrier and immunity. Professor William Tai , MyloLab 's Chief Scientific Officer and Professor at Hong Kong Polytechnic University, states, "A balanced gut microbiota is the key to gut microbiome health. The data of this 16-week study proves that precise functional probiotic formulas can effectively improve and balance gut microbiota, establishing a solid foundation for dogs' overall health." BCVN Leads the Way: The World's Top 0.01% of Vet Professionals Designs Your Dog's Every Meal In the world of pet nutrition, "veterinarian-endorsed" can practically be seen everywhere. But the true driving forces behind formula development are incredibly rare specialists - Board Certified Veterinary Nutritionists (BCVNs). Mylo is Hong Kong's only BCVN-developed pet nutrition brand. Chief Veterinary Nutrition Director Dr. Moran Tal-Gavriel holds European Board of Veterinary Specialisation (EBVS) certification. She is not just an advisor, but leads the development of every Mylo formula. From the selection of ingredients, to nutrient ratios, to functional design, and even safety checks. She, along with Professor Tai and the resident veterinary team, have jointly created a comprehensive longevity nutrition system that encompasses MyloMeals , functional fresh food recipes; MyloMix , a precise nutrient mix; and MyloBiome™, functional probiotic formulas. Dr. Moran Tal-Gavriel states, "My initial goal developing Mylo was to bring truly functional nutritional products to Asia, and make it the top choice for disease prevention. Each bowl from Mylo is made through precise calculation to turn nutrition into preventive care, and establish a sustainable health foundation for dogs." Initiating Asia's Largest Canine Microbiome Database for Early Disease Screening and Prevention Aside from providing scientific nutrition, Mylo officially announces collaboration with local veterinary clinics to initiate an ambitious longevity research plan - establishing Asia's largest canine longitudinal stool bank for microbiome research. This is a non-intrusive technology to detect severe illnesses such as CKD through stool samples. By taking preventive measures and early interventions, Mylo 's goal is to fundamentally improve dogs' overall health and longevity. Mylo 's co-founder and registered veterinarian, Dr. Samson Lui states, "Seeing several sick dogs in the clinic every day, I've always hoped for a preventive measure that can protect them from illnesses. By incorporating Mylo's comprehensive nutritional support system and early screening tests, we can intervene early to truly extend their healthy lifespan. To expel illness, and welcome healthier years." Mr. Kingson Kwan added, "The core of longevity is nutritional health and gut health, the exact two large domains Mylo is focusing on. We've assembled a scientific advisory team of BCVN, university research teams, professors, and veterinarians, to develop our products. Our vision is clear and simple - hoping to see more dogs live past the age of 20." Former President of Royal Canin Asia Pacific Joins to Strengthen Leadership and Regional Expansion To support Mylo 's long-term development and regional expansion strategy, Mylo announces the appointment of Sylvia Burbery as board advisor. Burberry was the Regional President for Royal Canin's Asia-Pacific & Emerging Markets under Mars , possessing over 30 years of multinational pet care and business leadership experience, building multiple leading markets from the ground up. Mr. Kwan expresses, "Establishing and expanding a science-based pet nutrition brand sure is a challenge. In terms of propelling business growth in Asia-Pacific and organizing market expansion, Sylvia has incomparable experience. Her addition not only strengthens Mylo's leadership team but places a stronger focus on propelling our local scientific research results towards the broader Asia-Pacific market." About Mylo Mylo is Hong Kong's first BCVN-developed pet fresh food and longevity science brand, with "Serious Science for Pet Longevity" as its core ethos. Through collaborating with prestigious university research teams, veterinarian clinical experiences, and human-grade ingredients, Mylo provides functional fresh meals, precise nutrient mix, and functional probiotic formulas, in the form of MyloMeals , MyloMix , and MyloBiome™ respectively, to prolong the healthy lives of your furbabies through scientific nutrition. Mylo products can now be purchased through their official website, mylo-pets.com , and provides personalized nutrition subscription plans. Xinhua Silk Road: From temple visit to island getaway: Fujian's Meizhou Island expands tourism appeal
BEIJING , Sept. 24, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Meizhou Island, located in Putian City in southeast China's Fujian Province, is renowned as the hometown of the Chinese sea goddess Mazu. Photo shows a scene from the large cultural performance "Impression Mazu", which combines AR glasses with live performances to create an immersive audiovisual experience for audiences. In recent years, the island has been tapping its tourism resources and developing distinctive Mazu culture-themed tourism activities, offering visitors a wider range of experiences and giving them more reasons to stay longer on the island rather than leave after half-day temple visit. Born as Lin Mo on the island in 960, Mazu is believed to be a legendary woman who was deified as a protector of seafarers. Mazu has more than 300 million followers worldwide. In 2009, "Mazu belief and customs" was inscribed on the UNESCO representative list of the intangible cultural heritage of humanity. "In previous years, visitors mainly came to Meizhou Island to worship Mazu. Many would arrive in the morning and leave in the afternoon," said a staff member of the island's administrative committee. "Now, more visitors are treating the island as a vacation destination, with a notable increase in family travelers, self-driving tourists and young visitors." Meizhou Island received about 3.23 million tourist visits in 2025, surpassing the 3-million mark for the first time. With the popularity of slow tourism, more visitors are no longer simply coming to "pay their respects" before leaving, but are choosing to stay for several days, taking leisurely walks, enjoying the sea views and embracing the relaxed pace of island life. Popular experiences on the island include dressing in traditional attire and taking photos in front of distinctive local architecture. Visitors can also experience "a day in the life of Mazu" at her former residence in the Mazu Heritage Park, and visit the Mazu cultural museum, and the Ping'an Pagoda. Moreover, large Mazu-themed live performances and fireworks after sunset can definitely light up visitors' night life on the island. From "paying respects and leaving" to lingering for the scenery, and from a half-day trip to "living a day in Mazu's world," Meizhou Island is transforming the appeal of a single temple into the allure of an island where visitors want to stay. Stefan Deiss, Co-Founder and CEO at THG , said: "Enterprises are deploying AI agents at scale that can negotiate contracts, process sensitive data, and execute financial transactions autonomously. The question everyone is now asking and worried about is: how do I know this agent is authorised to act on my behalf? We have solved that problem with our IDTrust solution. With IDTrust validated and listed on IBM Cloud Catalog, this means IBM's enterprise clients now have a direct path to deploy verifiable AI agent identity, built on the same distributed ledger technology of Hedera that IBM already governs." IDTrust is a decentralized self-sovereign identity platform with enterprise-grade cryptography for AI agents, devices, and humans that is already deployed with a leading European telecoms operator to power verified caller identity. Its listing on the IBM marketplace comes at a decisive moment. As autonomous AI agents can now negotiate contracts, process transactions, and execute workflows on behalf of organisations, enterprises face an urgent question: how do organisations verify that an AI agent is who it claims to be, and that it is authorised to act? Gartner projects that 40% of enterprise applications will embed task-specific AI agents by the end of 2026 , up from less than 5% in 2025, and in June, Akamai launched its own agent verification framework with Visa and Experian as partners . "Know Your Agent (KYA)" is moving from a theoretical concern to an enterprise priority, and THG's IBM Cloud Catalog listing positions IDTrust within one of the world's largest enterprise technology ecosystems to help organisations address this challenge. Naemi Benz, Vice President IBM Partner Ecosystem DACH , said: " Our partner ecosystem is central to how we help clients turn emerging technology into practical business value. IBM has recognized the enterprise potential of Web3 solutions, and THG's work building agent- ready identity infrastructure on Hedera made this a natural fit. Making THG's IDTrust available directly through the IBM Cloud Catalog reflects how we connect clients with the innovation of our global partner ecosystem, enabling organizations worldwide to access, integrate and scale transformative technologies such as decentralized identity." How IDTrust Works IDTrust is a secured Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) platform that provides AI agents, devices, and humans with decentralised identifiers (DIDs) and verifiable credentials (VCs). Built on open W3C standards and designed to support the EU eIDAS 2.0 framework, every credential is cryptographically signed, tamper-evident, and verifiable without needing a central authority – with a clear path to post-quantum security as the standards mature. The platform includes MCP servers that allow AI agents connected to IBM watsonx Orchestrate obtain their own identity credentials, designed to help make every authorisation and action taken by an AI agent remains auditable. Each credential is anchored on Hedera's distributed ledger, creating a permanent, tamper-evident record of an agent's identity and permissions over time. A Year of Enterprise Momentum The IBM partnership is just the latest in a series of major enterprise milestones for THG. In the past 12 months, the company has partnered with Merck Group on EU Digital Product Passports (DPP) , using its TrackTrace platform to integrate with Merck's M-TrustTM physical authentication technology system, offering a single system that bridges the physical and digital worlds for proof of quality, traceability, authenticity, and value transfer. THG has also strategically partnered with PwC in the carbon markets with its EcoGuard platform that provides digital carbon market infrastructure for the compliant issuance, trading, and retirement of high-integrity carbon credits. This follows the collaboration announced earlier this year in April with Teleport – an eCommerce logistics specialist operating the largest air network in Southeast Asia – to build a first-of-its-kind AI-driven Digital Customs Documentation System (DCDS) for cross-border e-commerce trade in Southeast Asia. Across all these enterprise deployments, THG's Hashgraph for Enterprise (H4E) ® product suite has been deployed, which now spans regulated supply chains, environmental compliance, cross-border logistics, and agentic AI verifiable identity. A Distribution Milestone for Hedera For Hedera Hashgraph, the IBM marketplace listing represents a significant distribution milestone. IBM is already a member of the Hedera Governing Council since 2019. With IDTrust now available on IBM Cloud Catalog, enterprise clients can purchase Hedera-anchored identity infrastructure through existing IBM consumption commitments, reducing one of the largest friction points in enterprise adoption and procurement of Hedera's distributed ledger technology (DLT). Organisations interested in learning more about IDTrust can find the solution on IBM Cloud Catalog or visit THG's profile on IBM Partner Directory . Helsinki Tops Global Destination Sustainability Index for the Third Year in a Row
HELSINKI , Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Helsinki has once again been ranked first in the Global Destination Sustainability (GDS) Index, for the third year in a row. The latest results were published on Wednesday 23 September. The international Global Destination Sustainability (GDS) Index measures the sustainability of tourist destinations in four different categories based on more than 70 indicators. Over a hundred cities around the world committed to sustainability are included in the comparison, and for the third year in a row, Helsinki tops the list. "Securing the top position for the third consecutive year demonstrates that sustainability is not a one-off achievement but a long-term strategic commitment. This recognition reaffirms that Helsinki is moving in the right direction and inspires us to continue raising the bar," states Nina Vesterinen, Director of Tourism, City of Helsinki. The timing of the publication of this year's index is particularly significant, as the EU's new 'Empowering Consumers Directive' (EmpCo) enters into force. This directive aims to combat unsubstantiated claims about sustainability efforts by requiring sustainability claims to be backed up by independently verifiable empirical data. "Considering the EmpCo directive, topping this year's GDS Index is one of the proofs that Helsinki's sustainability efforts are not just words, but are measurable and verifiable," according to Vesterinen. Helsinki's sustainability is built on cooperation The GDS Index assesses sustainability in four categories: environmental performance, supply chains, destination management and social sustainability. Helsinki's sustainability as a tourist destination is the result of cooperation between many operators. For example, the increasing number of companies with environmental certifications and the more climate-friendly production of district heating and electricity have helped Helsinki reach the top of the list. "Achieving the top ranking in the GDS Index reflects the strength of collaboration in Helsinki. For years, the city, tourism and event businesses, and numerous partners have worked together to make Helsinki a more sustainable destination," comments Tourism Director Vesterinen. Helsinki as a global leader Sitting in the top spot is not unusual for Finns, as Finland famously ranks as the Happiest Country in the World for the 9 th year in a row according to the World Happiness Report. The continuation of Helsinki's success in the GDS Index result strengthens Helsinki's position as an internationally attractive tourism and events destination. The results of the GDS Index emphasise Helsinki as a global leader in several sustainability metrics. For example, 98% of hotels with more than 50 rooms are environmentally certified, compared to the European average of just 10%. If other destinations are looking to improve on sustainability efforts in their cities, Helsinki stands out as a great model to follow. And despite nearly perfect scores in certain categories, Helsinki's work is not finished. The introduction of the EU's Empowering Consumers Directive reshapes how sustainability is marketed and discussed across the EU's public and private sectors. Namely, the directive bans generic claims such as 'sustainability,' 'eco-friendly,' and 'green' without clear and verifiable evidence to support these claims. As businesses and destinations alike scramble to find data to back their claims in light of this new directive, Helsinki benefits from several independent third-party data sets such as the GDS Index. Not only does the data affirm Helsinki's sustainability efforts but also demonstrates just how impressive Helsinki's metrics are compared to other destinations. Tourism and city growth call for continued sustainability efforts While this year's results are remarkable, Helsinki is pushing further. With a 93% score in the GDS Index, there is still room for improvement and Helsinki's tourism director indicates the city if moving full force to improve on this year's results. The City of Helsinki has several sustainability-related projects and measures underway, such as establishing a working group called 'Sustainability Leaders' as part of the Helsinki Makers networks, activating local leaders in promoting sustainable focused activities across the city. "We are delighted with Helsinki's great ranking again, but at the same time it sets high goals for us to remain at the top of the Index in the future. According to Helsinki's new tourism and events development program, tourism and events will be developed through practices that support sustainability, while aiming for year-round availability, strengthening the city's attractiveness and extending the stay of tourists. That is why we want to invest in sustainability in close collaboration with tourism and events companies and other actors," comments Tourism Director Vesterinen. "Despite its sustainability credentials, Helsinki as a tourist destination still has room for improvement. Finding a balance is not an easy task, but we are doing our best. A large proportion of international tourists visiting the city arrive by boat or by air, the climate impacts of which we acknowledge. Accordingly, we are aiming to attract more and more tourists from Finland and neighboring European regions," concludes Vesterinen. Phrozen Launches Sonic Mighty Revo 16K MAX: Go Big, Stay Precise, Print Without Interruption
The new 14-inch 16K resin printer is designed to help creators, studios, and service providers take on larger, longer jobs with steadier print conditions, fewer mid-print interruptions, clearer remote visibility, and faster turnaround between prints. HSINCHU , Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Phrozen, a Taiwan-based 3D printing brand known for high-resolution resin 3D printers, today introduced the Sonic Mighty Revo 16K MAX, a 14-inch 16K large-format MSLA resin 3D printer designed to make large, high-detail printing more stable, manageable, and production-ready. Built for creators, studios, print service providers, and users moving into larger-format resin printing, the Revo MAX combines large-format capacity with workflow-focused upgrades for long prints, batch production, and daily maintenance. Sonic Mighty Revo 16K MAX As resin printing moves from one-off models to larger parts, full build-plate batches, and more production-sensitive work such as jewelry patterns and functional prototypes, large-format printing has become a practical need for small studios and professional users. But larger prints also raise the cost of failure: long print times, temperature changes, resin refills, maintenance downtime, and limited remote visibility can all interrupt a job. To address these workflow risks, the Revo MAX brings together dual heating, a large 2L resin vat, quick-release maintenance, 1080p AI-enhanced monitoring, Phrozen GO app control, and a broader large-format printing ecosystem, helping users keep longer jobs moving with steadier conditions, clearer visibility, and faster turnaround between prints. Dual Heating for More Stable Long Prints The Revo MAX is designed to maintain a more consistent printing environment during long resin prints, especially in colder rooms or when working with high-viscosity engineering resins. Its dual-fan chamber heating system quickly brings the chamber up to 30°C. For users who need greater resin temperature stability, the optional heated resin vat directly heats the resin, helping reduce thickening and promote more even resin flow after each lift. This improves layer consistency from the first layer to the last and helps reduce the risk of failure during long prints. A 2L Resin Vat Designed to Reduce Mid-Print Refills The Revo MAX features a large 2L resin vat that can hold up to 2.5 standard 1 kg bottles resin, giving users more capacity for overnight prints, full build-plate batches, and larger models. With more resin available from the start, users are less likely to pause or interrupt a print to refill the vat, which helps reduce the chance of mistakes during long jobs. The larger vat also keeps the setup simpler than auto-feed pumps and tubes, helping users avoid clogs, loose tubing, leaks, and extra cleanup. All-Metal Angled Build Plate and Quick-Release Components for Faster Maintenance The Revo MAX uses an all-metal build plate with an angled top surface that helps leftover resin drain off naturally after printing. This reduces the need for manual scraping and cleanup, making it easier to move from one job to the next. For routine maintenance, the build plate, release film, and LCD are all designed for quick removal or replacement. The quick-swap LCD can be removed and replaced with minimal downtime, while the release film can be changed without screws in about three minutes. Together, these features help shorten maintenance downtime and keep the printer ready for continuous studio use. 1080p and AI-Enhanced Camera Monitoring for Greater Peace of Mind Many large-format resin printers rely on lower-resolution or horizontally positioned cameras that can make it harder to see the full build area during printing. The Revo MAX takes a different approach with a vertically mounted 1080p camera designed to give users a clearer view of large prints in progress. UV-free amber LED lighting brightens the chamber without exposing the resin to curing light, while AI color correction helps the image look more natural and easier to read. Whether users are checking an overnight print, reviewing time-lapse footage, or simply making sure a long job is still running smoothly, the monitoring system lets them look in whenever they need and print with greater confidence without staying beside the machine. Phrozen GO App Control for Long Jobs and Multi-Printer Workflows With the Phrozen GO app, users can control and monitor their Revo MAX from their mobile devices, including starting, pausing, resuming, and checking print jobs remotely. The app also supports live camera viewing, time-lapse review, alerts, and multi-printer management, giving users a clearer way to stay updated across long prints or multiple machines. For overnight jobs, studio production, or print-service workflows, this reduces the need to stay beside each printer while still keeping users informed when attention is needed. A Complete Large-Format Printing Workflow For users building a complete large-format resin printing setup, the Revo MAX is designed to fit into a full workflow from file preparation to finished part. After printing, Wash Mega S supports large-format model cleaning without manual agitation, while Cure Mega S provides consistent curing for larger resin prints. Air Purifier Max helps manage resin odor in the workspace, and the 3D Printer Enclosure Mega supports a more controlled printing environment. On the software side, users can source printable 3D models through PIXUP platform and continue working with major resin 3D printing slicers such as CHITUBOX and Lychee Slicer, keeping the workflow connected from model sourcing and slicing to printing, cleaning, curing, and workspace management. "For many users, moving into larger resin prints is exciting, but it also raises the stakes with longer print times, more resin, and more chances for interruption," said Ray Wu, CEO of Phrozen. "With the Revo MAX, our goal is to reduce those points of uncertainty, from heating and resin capacity to monitoring and maintenance, so users can build a large-format printing workflow they can trust." Availability The Sonic Mighty Revo 16K MAX is now available in the United States, priced at USD 1,600. A Super Early Bird offer is live for a limited time, taking 20% off — shop now. AUVON Launches HT2121: Structured Back Support with Optional Soothing Heat for Everyday Comfort
A daily-wear back support belt combines visible structure, an ergonomic fit, and a detachable heating pad—bringing people support first and soothing warmth. LEWES, Del. , Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- AUVON, a consumer wellness brand focused on practical, accessible tools for everyday self-care, today announced the launch of the AUVON HT2121 Structured Back Support Belt with Optional Soothing Heat . Designed for people who spend long hours sitting, standing, working from home, or managing active household routines, HT2121 brings together structured lower-back support, an ergonomic fit, adjustable compression, and a detachable heating pad in one flexible daily-wear solution. AUVON’s innovative back brace integrates adjustable lumbar support with a removable heating pad to address lower back discomfort. Users can switch between two modes: support plus heating therapy for soothing muscle relaxation at home, or standalone lumbar support for lightweight waist protection during gardening, work and outdoor activities. Designed to stabilize the lumbar spine and ease back soreness, this wearable waist brace delivers reliable back care for both indoor rest and on-the-go daily use. Rath er than positioning heat as the whole product, HT2121 is built around a simple need from consumers: reliable back support that can stay comfortable through a real day. The belt can be worn on its own for structured support, or paired with its removable heating pad when the user wants soothing warmth at home. Support First, With Warmth When It Helps Many back belts feel like little more than soft fabric, while many heating products offer warmth without the stability people want during desk work, light household activity, or long periods on their feet. HT2121 is designed to close that gap. Its support system incorporates four aluminum stays and a central support stay , creating a visibly structured design intended to provide a more stable support feel in daily use. A 26-degree ergonomic lower-back contour follows the natural curve of the lower back, helping reduce the localized pressure that can occur with flat, rigid support designs. Four sets of dual-direction compression straps help users adjust the fit and help the belt stay more securely in place while sitting, standing, and moving through ordinary routines. The lightweight, breathable knitted fabric is designed to make daily wear more practical at work, at home, and on the go. "Consumers should not have to choose between a belt that feels supportive and a heat product that feels comforting," said Charlie, GM for AUVON. "With HT2121, we started with visible, structured support—the part people can feel throughout the day—and made soothing heat an optional layer they can add when it fits their routine." Two Ways to Wear It, One More Flexible Routine The removable heating pad gives HT2121 two distinct use modes. Users may wear the belt alone when they want a lighter structured-support experience, or attach the heating pad when they want warmth during a home routine or time set aside for rest. The heating component includes 10 adjustable heat levels and built-in safety protections, enabling users to select a warming experience that better fits their personal comfort preferences and intended use. This modular approach helps avoid the all-or-nothing choice between a conventional support belt and a dedicated heating pad. A physical therapy professional Matt Huey reviewed the product's design and welcomed the way it brings together everyday lumbar support and optional soothing warmth. "For people dealing with routine lower-back discomfort, support and heat can complement each other well," the professional noted. "The supportive structure helps provide a more secure, comfortable fit throughout the day, while the detachable heating pad offers gentle warmth when users need extra relief. Using them together gives users a more practical option than a heat wrap or support belt alone." Designed Around the Friction of Everyday Wear HT2121 was developed for people whose routines make comfort difficult to maintain—office workers who sit for extended periods, work-from-home users, people on their feet for long shifts, and adults seeking more practical support during home routines. The product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical care. Users should follow product instructions and consult a qualified healthcare professional with questions about individual health conditions or use. "Everyday comfort products work best when they respect how people actually live," Charlie added. "That means avoiding unnecessary complexity: support that is easy to wear, fit adjustment that feels intuitive, breathable materials for longer routines, and heat that is available when wanted—not forced into every use." Availability The AUVON HT2121 Structured Back Support Belt with Optional Soothing Heat is available through Amazon. Kmind Debuts Executive Strategy Program in Silicon Valley
SHANGHAI , Sept. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Kmind Consulting , China's leading strategy consulting firm, hosted an Executive Strategy Program on 18 th September at Silicon Valley's Computer History Museum, becoming the first Chinese strategy consulting firm to do so. Led by Noah Xie, Chairman and CEO of Kmind, the program brought the company's strategic know-how to more than 100 executives and business leaders from the technology and consumer sectors. The Innovation Dividend is Shrinking Silicon Valley tech firms are experiencing a disconnect: technology is advancing rapidly, while turning technological capabilities into durable business value is becoming harder. Companies with leading AI capabilities are releasing new models and products at a relentless pace, intensifying competition while increasing the cost of innovation. At the same time, as technological capabilities become increasingly accessible, competitors can replicate products, features and even aspects of proprietary know-how more quickly. As the window for technological differentiation narrows, entrepreneurs increasingly face the same question: How can companies turn technological leadership into sustainable business growth and build competitive advantages that are difficult to replicate? Strategy in the age of AI Kmind's Program answered this question by deconstructing the company's Next Generation Strategy , a framework blending Eastern wisdom with Western theory, with a particular focus on how customer perception shapes decisions across product development, operations and go-to-market strategy. This framework has helped more than 100 companies pursue sustained growth and stronger competitive positions. The Program also brought real-world cases from leading Chinese companies to Silicon Valley, including: Bosideng , a decades-old down jacket brand facing an aging brand image, reshaped its high-end perception through strategic products, achieving seven consecutive years of growth to become a global leader in the down-jacket market. Feihe , one of China's leading dairy manufacturers, transformed from the seventh-ranked infant formula brand into a leading global player through targeted competitive positioning. Both companies illustrate a broader principle: sustainable growth comes from connecting what a company can build with what customers value, and then embedding that insight across product, brand and go-to-market decisions. For AI and technology companies, the same principle applies: technological capability becomes strategically valuable only when it translates into differentiated customer value. "The central challenge for technology companies today is no longer simply how to build better technology, but how to translate technological advantage into lasting customer value and competitive advantage. That is why we brought Kmind's Next Generation Strategy to Silicon Valley." — Noah Xie, Chairman and CEO, Kmind Consulting "It is rare to encounter a strategic framework as distinctive as Kmind's Next Generation Strategy in Silicon Valley. Its emphasis on connecting technology with customer insight offers a valuable perspective for companies navigating the AI era." — Russell Flannery, Former Editor-in-Chief, Forbes China About Kmind Consulting Kmind Consulting, founded in 2015, is a strategy consulting firm focused on helping companies achieve sustainable growth and long-term competitive advantage. With over 200 consultants, Kmind has worked with more than 100 companies across industries, and 10 of its clients have achieved leading positions in their respective markets. JA's Space PV Products Reach Orbit, Starting Space Validation
BEIJING , Sept. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- JA announced that its independently developed and packaged P-type heterojunction (P-HJT) modules were successfully launched on September 17 and entered their planned orbit. JA's Space PV Products Reach Orbit, Starting Space Validation The mission marks JA's first in-orbit test of P-HJT modules, with future large-scale commercial applications as a long-term goal. "Energy innovation has long been a driving force behind human progress," said Dr. Ouyang Zi, Chief Technology Officer of JA. "As satellite deployment accelerates and the space economy expands, solar power is expected to play an increasingly important role in future space infrastructure. Developing more cost-competitive solar solutions for space is therefore an important strategic priority. "JA has spent years building expertise in photovoltaic technology, with the reliability and long-term performance of its products proven through large-scale manufacturing and deployment across a wide range of terrestrial applications. This in-orbit test extends those capabilities into the space environment and marks an important step in JA's exploration of future space energy solutions. "Through real-world testing in orbit, we aim to assess the reliability and degradation of crystalline silicon technology in low-Earth orbit and explore more cost-competitive options for future space energy systems. The technology will require long-term validation, but we believe it is a direction worth pursuing." In orbit, the JA modules will be exposed to harsh conditions, including intense radiation, high-energy particles and extreme temperature swings. By comparing in-orbit performance data with results from ground-based simulations, JA will assess the long-term reliability and degradation of P-HJT technology in low-Earth orbit. If the validation targets are achieved, the program could help accelerate the adoption of mature crystalline silicon technologies as an alternative to gallium arsenide in low-Earth-orbit applications, potentially lowering the cost of satellite power systems. It could also support the development of satellite internet, remote sensing, space communications, space-based computing and other low-Earth-orbit applications. JA will use the mission as a starting point to further strengthen its module R&D and manufacturing capabilities and advance scalable energy solutions for space exploration and commercial space applications. Space PV remains at an early stage of exploration and validation, and large-scale commercialization remains highly uncertain. JA currently has no orders related to space PV, and the program has no material impact on its current operating performance.

Mango Power S Earns UL 3700 Certification for Interactive Plug-In Solar Applications
Building on UL 1741, IEEE 1547 and CEC listing, Mango Power S combines 97% CEC efficiency, single-stage Cyclo topology and intelligent anti-backflow control for a simpler owner-led solar experience NEW YORK , Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Mango Power, a clean energy technology company and home energy brand, today announced that Mango Power S has been certified by Intertek to UL 3700, which addresses Interactive Plug-In Photovoltaic Equipment and Systems. The certification expands Mango Power S's established U.S. credentials—including UL 1741, IEEE 1547 and California Energy Commission (CEC) listing—to include plug-in solar applications. It marks another step in Mango Power's effort to make residential solar safer, simpler to deploy and more accessible to homeowners. Mango Power S combines a 97% CEC-efficient single-stage Cyclo microinverter topology, Wi-Fi Mesh connectivity, app-based monitoring and a 25-year limited microinverter warranty. Paired with the 200A Mango Power Smart Gateway Lite, the system also supports whole-home energy monitoring and zero-export-capable control with a 200ms anti-backflow response. "UL 3700 certification is an important milestone for Mango Power S and our vision for owner-led home energy," said Steve Wang, CEO of Mango Power. "Together with our existing UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 credentials and CEC listing, it strengthens the foundation for a DIY plug-in solar experience built around independently evaluated equipment, efficient power conversion and intelligent energy management." A New Milestone for DIY Plug-In Solar UL 3700 addresses Interactive Plug-In Photovoltaic equipment and systems, commonly known as PIPV. Certification to these requirements gives homeowners, installers, distributors and industry partners an additional independently evaluated basis for considering Mango Power S in plug-in solar projects. Plug-in solar can give homeowners a more direct path to generating electricity. Customers can select a defined product configuration, evaluate their available space and daytime energy use, and manage the project around their own needs instead of beginning with a traditional, sales-led solar process. Mango Power believes homeowners should have more control over their energy choices while still having access to professional support when needed. With this vision, Mango Power introduces a "DIY, not alone" approach, allowing homeowners to select their system and plan their projects while adding qualified electrical support when required by installation conditions or local requirements. By bringing the principal components together in a coordinated solution, Mango Power S is designed to reduce project complexity, improve deployment efficiency and help lower certain equipment, installation and project-management costs. 97% CEC Efficiency Through Single-Stage Cyclo Topology The core architecture of Mango Power S is a single-stage Cyclo microinverter topology developed for efficient, compact power conversion. Mango Power S achieves 97% CEC efficiency and up to 99.9% MPPT efficiency, helping convert available solar energy into usable AC electricity. Its single-stage architecture simplifies the power-conversion path, supported by Mango Power's control algorithms, thermal design and system-level optimization. Each microinverter performs independent conversion at the panel level, helping limit the effect that shading or differences in one panel's output have on other panels. A sealed, IP68-rated enclosure supports outdoor operation. Anti-islanding and rapid-shutdown functions provide system protections, while a 25-year limited microinverter warranty, subject to applicable terms, supports long-term ownership. Mango Power's development is also strengthened by its global partnership with Infineon. The collaboration combines Infineon's power-semiconductor technologies with Mango Power's capabilities in Cyclo topology, control algorithms and system optimization to advance conversion efficiency, compact design, thermal performance and intelligent control. Smart Gateway Lite Supports Self-Consumption and Anti-Backflow Control The 200A Mango Power Smart Gateway Lite monitors household consumption, solar production and grid power flow. When correctly installed and configured, it provides zero-export-capable energy control with a 200ms anti-backflow response. Combined with Wi-Fi Mesh connectivity and the Mango Power App, the system gives users a clear view of solar generation and household energy use. This visibility can help households shift appropriate electricity use into solar-producing hours, increase on-site consumption of the energy they generate and reduce electricity purchased from the grid during those periods. Actual production, self-consumption and electricity-bill savings depend on sunlight, panel placement, system capacity, household consumption, electricity rates and other conditions. 120V and 240V Options for Different Plug-In Solar Needs Mango Power is developing its plug-in solar portfolio around different household energy needs and installation scenarios. Mango Power S PIPV 1200W Kit The Mango Power S PIPV 1200W Kit combines: Four 300W solar panels; Four 120V Mango Power S microinverters; Mounting stands and AC connection accessories; A 200A Smart Gateway Lite; and Mango Power App monitoring. The packaged 120V solution gives customers a defined starting point for a smaller, owner-led solar project, bringing the principal generation, connection and monitoring components together in one system. Upcoming 240V Split-Phase Plug-In Solar Mango Power also plans to introduce a 240V split-phase plug-in solar configuration for customers seeking greater generation capacity. Its split-phase design connects solar generation across both legs of a typical U.S. residential electrical service, helping maintain balanced generation and allowing eligible household loads on either leg to use available solar energy. The forthcoming system is being developed as a solar-only, grid-tied plug-in solution. It is intended to expand the range of household electricity demand that can be offset by daytime solar generation. Together, the 120V and upcoming 240V options will give homeowners greater flexibility to select a plug-in solar configuration based on available space, daytime consumption, desired capacity and site-specific electrical requirements. Making Home Solar Easier to Own By combining UL 3700 certification with existing UL 1741 and IEEE 1547 credentials and CEC listing, Mango Power S establishes a strong technical foundation for DIY-minded plug-in solar. Its 97% CEC-efficient single-stage topology, panel-level power conversion, connected monitoring, 25-year limited warranty and zero-export-capable energy management are designed to simplify solar planning, improve deployment efficiency and help more households generate and use their own electricity. System capacity, connection method and installation requirements depend on the selected equipment, electrical design and applicable local rules. Electrical installation and utility interconnection may require a licensed electrician and local approval. iQIYI Capitalizes on China's Big-Screen Viewing Trend as Long-Form Video Enters Next Chapter
BEIJING , Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- iQIYI, China's leading online entertainment platform, is well positioned to capitalize on the growing trend toward big-screen viewing, as the big screen increasingly becomes a key destination for long-form video consumption. Behind this trend is a rising bar for viewing experience. The big screen's natural advantages — audio-visual quality, immersion, and shared family viewing — make it a more fitting home for premium long-form content. As big-screen viewing continues to gain momentum, iQIYI's big-screen business has become an increasingly important driver of user scale, engagement, and monetization. A Global Trend Toward the Big-Screen This shift is part of a broader global trend toward big-screen streaming. The worldwide Connected TV (CTV) market is projected to reach USD 260.56 billion in 2026 and expand at a 6.03% CAGR through 2032, with the Asia-Pacific region accounting for approximately 45% of total demand, according to MarkNtel Advisors. In the United States, streaming accounted for 48.6% of total TV watch time in May 2026, with YouTube representing 13.8% and Netflix at 8.0%, according to Nielsen's monthly "The Gauge" report. The shift is also visible across other markets. In Poland, for example, Nielsen found that Netflix's share of viewing on TV screens rose from 83% in May to 86% in June 2026, reflecting what Nielsen described as a broader trend of digital platforms strengthening their presence on the household's largest screen. Together, these developments point to the growing role of the big screen as a key destination for streaming, particularly for premium and long-form content. A Growing Audience According to China's leading big data intelligence services provider QuestMobile, active smart TV devices reached 302 million in June 2026, up 12.04 million year-over-year, with OTT monthly active devices continuing to grow. iQIYI's smart TV application, QIYIGuo TV, led the market with 141 million monthly active devices. The scale of big-screen viewership extends well beyond what mobile numbers capture. QIYIGuo TV recorded 50.42 million daily active devices in June, slightly ahead of the 45.14 million daily active users on the iQIYI mobile app. But television is not a single-user device. According to Gozen Data, a leading cross-screen big data provider in China, each smart TV averages 2.6 viewers, implying iQIYI's big-screen content reaches approximately 130 million individual viewers daily — nearly three times its mobile daily active users (DAU). Deeper Engagement Scale only tells part of the story. What sets the big screen apart is how long audiences stay. Gozen Data shows that iQIYI TV users averaged 256 minutes of daily viewing in August, up 13 minutes from the prior month and growing for three consecutive months. That engagement translates into willingness to pay. According to iiMedia Research, a leading new-economy research and data analytics firm in China, QIYIGuo TV ranked first among consumers' preferred TV video subscription services in 2026, with a 32.45% share. Paying habits on the big screen are well established, providing a solid foundation for monetization. Television viewing is also behaviorally different from mobile: sessions run longer, consumption is shared across the household, and immersion runs deeper. That makes the big screen a more natural home for long-form content and a more durable platform for subscription retention and advertising. Stronger Content, Smarter Production Big-screen engagement is built on content. This year, iQIYI has produced three dramas surpassing its content popularity index of 10,000 — a measure of audience engagement on the platform and a milestone typically associated with nationwide hit titles, including "The Punishment," "Born with Luck" and "Pursuit of Jade." Among this summer's new releases, iQIYI accounted for seven of the 15 dramas rated S+ across all platforms by Enlightent, a leading Chinese entertainment data provider, with all seven exclusively streamed on the platform. Beyond content investment, iQIYI is driving efficiency through AI while expanding the possibilities of AI-powered storytelling. In July, iQIYI exclusively premiered "Mystic Tales: The Spider Lady's Vendetta" on iQIYI and iQIYI International, making it China's first AIGC internet feature film released under an Internet Drama and Film Distribution License. This was followed by the first two films in "The Ferry Man" AIGC series, "The Ferry Man: Butterfly Dream" and "The Ferry Man: The Dream of the Celestial Maiden," which generated over RMB 6 million in revenue-sharing box office within their first 10 days following their August 22 debut—an early signal that audiences are receptive to AI-produced premium content. From a strong content slate to AI-driven efficiency, iQIYI is amplifying user value on the big screen through streamlined production and a more open, diverse content supply. As big-screen viewing continues its resurgence, iQIYI is well-positioned to capture the trend and reinforce its standing as a leading destination for long-form video in China. Radisson Hotel Group and GDS-Movement launch roadmap to help close the sustainability action gap
The new guide provides Associations and professional conference organizers (PCOs) with practical tools, destination data, and measurable frameworks to turn sustainability ambitions into action. BRUSSELS , Sept. 18, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- While sustainability has become a strategic priority for many organizations, implementation remains a significant challenge across the meetings and events industry. New findings show that although 66% of Associations consider sustainability highly important, fewer than 34% have embedded it into their operations, and only 3% report having an advanced sustainability program. To help close this gap, Radisson Hotel Group (RHG) and GDS-Movement have partnered to launch Accelerating Sustainable & Regenerative Events: A Guide for Associations & PCOs , a practical roadmap designed to help Associations and Professional Congress Organizers (PCOs) integrate sustainability into event planning, delivery and reporting. The guide was unveiled to industry stakeholders in Brussels and developed using insights from destinations participating in the GDS-Index, the leading benchmarking and performance improvement program for destination sustainability. For Associations, the challenge extends beyond a single event. Many organizations manage multiple meetings across different destinations, suppliers and planning cycles, creating complexity when trying to implement consistent sustainability standards and reporting frameworks. "The industry does not have a sustainability awareness problem; it has an implementation challenge," said Inge Huijbrechts, Chief Sustainability and Security Officer at Radisson Hotel Group. "As a global hospitality company, we work closely with associations, event organizers and destinations around the world and understand the practical barriers they face. This guide is designed to move the conversation from ambition to action by providing planners with practical tools, trusted frameworks and stronger collaboration models." Addressing the sustainability action gap Despite growing awareness of environmental and social responsibilities, many event organizers continue to face barriers, including perceived costs, limited access to sustainability data, fragmented supplier ecosystems and a lack of practical implementation frameworks. The guide argues that successful sustainable events require more than individual initiatives. They depend on collaboration between Associations, destinations, venues and suppliers to create measurable and repeatable approaches that can be applied consistently across event portfolios. For organizations managing recurring congresses, annual conferences and regional meetings, this need for consistency is particularly important. The role of destinations in driving progress A central theme of the guide is the growing role of destinations in helping event organizers achieve their sustainability objectives. Through the GDS-Index, destinations are assessed against 74 qualitative and quantitative indicators aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) Destination Criteria, helping create transparency and accountability across the events ecosystem. "Destinations play a pivotal role in accelerating the transition toward sustainable and regenerative events," said Guy Bigwood, CEO and Chief Changemaker of GDS-Movement. "Through the GDS-Index, we help destinations measure and improve their sustainability performance while providing event organizers with the information they need to make informed decisions. Collaboration between destinations, venues and suppliers is essential to creating events that generate meaningful social, environmental and economic value." Five actions for more sustainable events The guide outlines five practical actions that Associations and PCOs can implement to strengthen sustainability performance across their events: Collaborate with destination partners earlier in the planning process Prioritize certified supplier networks and sustainability credentials Integrate social impact and legacy initiatives into event design Incorporate low-carbon mobility strategies for delegates and stakeholders Implement sustainability-linked measurement, reporting and incentive frameworks Together, these actions provide planners with a practical foundation for delivering more sustainable and regenerative events while improving consistency across multiple meetings and destinations. A shared commitment to industry progress The partnership between Radisson Hotel Group and GDS-Movement reflects a shared commitment to accelerating sustainability across the meetings and events industry through practical action, collaboration and measurable outcomes. Building on initiatives such as Verified Net Zero and the implementation of Hotel Sustainability Basics across its portfolio, Radisson Hotel Group continues to work with Associations, destinations and industry partners to support more responsible event delivery and help create a more sustainable future for meetings and events worldwide. Xinhua Silk Road: Two indices on rowing and hutong revitalization in Shenyang launched
BEIJING , Sept. 17, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Two indices reports on development of rowing sport and hutong revitalization in Shenyang, the capital city of northeast China's Liaoning Province, have been officially launched by Xinhua Indices Institute. The reports -- China (Shenyang) rowing development index report and China (Shenyang) hutong revitalization index report -- were released at the 2026 China (Shenyang) Exchange on Integrated Development of Culture, Tourism, Sports and Commerce held on Sept. 10 in Shenyang. Co-hosted by the Shenyang Municipal People's Government and the Brand Work Office of Xinhua News Agency, the event brought together guests from government, industry, academia and research institutions to explore new approaches and models for the integrated development of culture, tourism, sports and commerce. The release of the two indices places the "outward-oriented sports event economy," represented by rowing, and the "inward-oriented revitalization of existing urban assets," represented by hutongs, within the same framework, establishing an annual benchmark for the integrated development of culture, tourism, sports and commerce. Shenyang will look outward for breakthroughs through the rowing index, leverage sports events to activate its waterfront spaces and further develop itself as a rowing capital, said a municipal official. Meanwhile, the city will tap its internal potential through the hutong index, revitalizing local old hutongs via micro-renewal work. The city is steadily advancing toward its duo goals of becoming a "rowing capital" and a "famous historical and cultural city." To achieve these goals, Shenyang has hosted the Asian Rowing U19&U23 Championships consecutively along the Hunhe River, while the "rowing in schools" program has been rolled out across the city. Deep in the hutongs, 67 old hutongs in the city's Fangcheng area have been renovated. Laobeishi hosted more than 6,000 performances to the public throughout the year, while the Bajing coffee alley received more than 2 million visitors annually. Guo Linwen, deputy director of the Cultural Industries Institute of Renmin University of China, suggested that Shenyang strengthen its cultural identity, break down boundaries between different business formats and apply cutting-edge technologies to enhance immersive experiences. He recommended using length of stay, the proportion of secondary spending and the number of overnight visitors as key indicators to evaluate project performance. The event also featured two parallel sessions -- the "Sports +" session and the session on culture, tourism and sports empowering innovation in urban consumption scenarios. "We applaud RedDoorz for taking this vital step by joining ECPAT to embed proactive safeguarding systems into the heart of Southeast Asian hospitality." To operationalize this commitment, RedDoorz is introducing the SHIELD (Safeguarding Hospitality through Integrity, Ethics, and Lasting Diligence) Program across its ecosystem. Under SHIELD, RedDoorz is strengthening five commitments across its property network: Guest Identity & Data Protection, ensuring adult guest identities are verified at check-in and personal information is handled responsibly; Child Protection, strengthening verification and safeguarding procedures to help prevent child sexual exploitation; Safety Support, providing a centralized mechanism for reporting safety and safeguarding concerns and accessing appropriate support; Responsible Safety Monitoring, responsible use of CCTV; and Property Safety Standards, maintaining clear requirements for fire safety, structural and facility safety, hygiene, and emergency preparedness, supported by training, monitoring, and audits. RedDoorz will join The Code of Conduct for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation in Travel and Tourism (The Code). Through this, RedDoorz will strengthen formal child-protection procedures, conducting mandatory staff training, extending safeguarding standards across its supply chain, raising awareness among travelers, collaborating with key stakeholders, and publishing progress reports. "We're proud to partner with ECPAT, whose commitment to protecting children across our industry sets a standard we're committed to upholding. We're bringing our resources and operational support to amplify their impact in Indonesia, and we're committed to scaling this partnership across Southeast Asia, starting with the Philippines," said Amit Saberwal, Founder and CEO of RedDoorz . RedDoorz's safeguarding includes property onboarding standards, requiring partner properties to hold valid licensing, including a Business Registration Number. Where applicable, properties may observe Syariah hospitality standards to respect local community norms. To support the implementation of these safeguards, RedDoorz is also working with ECPAT and the Indonesian National Police to provide child-protection training for property owners and staff, covering risk identification, preventive measures, and appropriate reporting and escalation procedures. RedDoorz has established reporting mechanisms, including a public Help Centre where guests, witnesses, and locals can report incidents, alongside 24/7 support for urgent safety and welfare concerns. Property owners and staff will also receive an Emergency Response Pocket Book covering child safety, emergency handling, fire incidents, and police coordination. Through these proactive measures, RedDoorz aims to set a new benchmark for ethical, safe, and responsible hospitality.

Apex Intelligence Raises Nearly US$50 Million in Angel Funding to Build Self-Evolving Foundation Models
-A Chinese Startup Enters the Global RSI Race. BEIJING , Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Apex Intelligence has completed its angel and angel-plus funding rounds, raising nearly US$50 Million in total. The angel round was co-led by IDG Capital, LinkX Capital and XtalPi, with participation from Decent Capital, SEE Fund, Monad Ventures, and Winsoul Capital. The angel-plus round was co-led by Zhongguancun Science City Fund, SCGC, and Shanghai Engine Fund. Founded in June 2026, Apex Intelligence is building the next generation of self-evolving foundation models. Self-evolution refers to Recursive Self-Improvement (RSI), or models improving themselves. With a focus on scientific research and discovery, the company aims to move AI from an assistive tool to a co-researcher, and from accelerating what is known to discovering what is unknown. Apex Intelligence will also visit leading North American universities—including Harvard University, MIT, Yale University, and Boston University—from September 17 to September 23 to meet with students, researchers, and academic research groups for talent recruitment and research collaboration. Yongchao Chen, Founder of Apex Intelligence. Assistant Professor, Tsinghua Institute for AI. USTC BS, Harvard-MIT Joint PhD. AI's Next Frontier Is Research Centuries of technological progress have unfolded through successive S-curves opened up by scientific breakthroughs. Each S-curve spans three stages: scientific breakthroughs, research discoveries, and engineering implementation. Most AI today remains focused on engineering and execution, while the scarce breakthroughs in science and research still depend heavily on humans. Apex Intelligence believes the next technological revolution will center on AI becoming a co-researcher and a native research engine—one that goes beyond accelerating familiar work to actively discovering unexplored directions. Research is the core driving force behind RSI. Building AI Researchers, Not Just AI Assistants Apex Intelligence believes that advancing AI's general intelligence in R&D requires model training. Specifically, through mid-training and post-training, the company guides models to generate creative ideas and autonomously carry out the entire cycle of self-improvement: hypothesis, experimentation, validation, and iteration. Over the long term, Apex Intelligence aims to build self-evolving foundation models whose collective research capabilities match, and progressively surpass, those of 100,000 top-tier AI scientists spanning disciplines, forming a scalable network of AI researchers. This is a long-term vision and goal, and the company is working toward it step by step. It represents a fundamental shift in the R&D paradigm, rather than an incremental improvement in efficiency. Potential applications span any field where R&D workflows can be structured and outcomes measured, including chip design and simulation, molecular R&D, and quantitative strategy iteration. These fields share three characteristics: high value, intensive demands on human expertise, and costly trial and error. Apex Intelligence's Self-Evolving AI System Approaches Capabilities of Leading Human Researchers Apex Intelligence's self-evolving AI system has delivered encouraging results in both AI for AI and AI for Math . AI for AI The system has autonomously produced research of a standard suitable for acceptance at leading AI conferences, demonstrating capabilities comparable to those of an AI PhD student. It has also autonomously achieved more accurate decisions before training, better strategies during training, and optimizations to the underlying GPU kernels. Across SimpleTES, NanoChat Autoresearch, GPUMode TriMul, and MLS-Bench, it has set new records or approached the best publicly reported results, outperforming solutions developed by or with contributions from Recursive Superintelligence, Tencent Hunyuan, Stanford, NVIDIA, and other organizations. AI for Math The AI system has produced a complete proof of the majorization conjecture, which had remained open for more than three decades, and achieved multiple breakthroughs in optimization theory, geometric topology, and other areas. Apex Intelligence was founded by Yongchao Chen, an assistant professor at Tsinghua University's School of Artificial Intelligence. His undergraduate and graduate education spans the University of Science and Technology of China and a joint Harvard–MIT training program. He has conducted research at Google DeepMind, Microsoft, and the MIT–IBM Watson AI Lab. The core team comes from leading universities including Tsinghua, Peking University, Harvard, and MIT. Looking ahead, Apex Intelligence will continue investing in foundation models and compute, advance the training and iteration of recursively self-improving foundation models, build a high-quality research trajectory data infrastructure, and attract top talent from around the world. Guided by its founding mission to " Unlock Undiscovered Discovery ," the company is working to move AI from reproducing existing knowledge to autonomous scientific discovery. Founder Quotes "I have always believed that models taught by humans are ultimately limited by humans themselves. When we align them to human preferences, we lock their intelligence ceiling at our own level. No matter how much compute and data we add, we are only making them better at retaining existing knowledge. The limits of true intelligence can only be defined by the objective world. The first generation of large models replaces white-collar workers; embodied AI replaces blue-collar workers; and ASI will replace humanity's most accomplished scientists. That moment will come sooner or later. Our job is to bring it closer." — Yongchao Chen, Founder of Apex Intelligence About Apex Intelligence Founded in June 2026, Apex Intelligence is a Beijing, China-based self-evolving foundation model company focused on next-generation industrial intelligence through recursive self-improvement. PAINSTUDY Inc. Expands Functional Patch Lineup for Everyday Muscle and Joint Care
Functional healthcare brand builds on domestic online market experience to broaden product lineup, distribution channels, and eye global wellness market entry SEOUL, South Korea , Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Functional healthcare brand PAINSTUDY Inc. is strengthening its product competitiveness with the launch of a new line of functional patches aimed at meeting the everyday muscle and joint care needs of modern consumers. Drawing on consumer feedback and product development know-how accumulated in the domestic online market, the company plans to expand both its product lineup and distribution channels, with an eye toward eventually entering the global wellness market. PAINSTUDY is a brand that develops and supplies functional healthcare products designed to help modern consumers manage their physical condition more easily amid everyday muscle and joint discomfort. By analyzing contemporary lifestyle patterns and usage environments, the company has developed premium muscle and joint patches in-house with an emphasis on safety and ease of use. Its core product line takes the form of skin-adhesive patches, designed with an emphasis on adhesion and usability so they can be conveniently applied during daily activities. The new product line reflects customer feedback the company has gathered through its sales history, as well as its own in-house development know-how. Rather than simply adding new items, the development process focused on incorporating the real, everyday inconveniences and needs voiced by consumers, aiming to deliver a more practical muscle and joint care experience. In particular, PAINSTUDY set a core direction for the new products around helping consumers manage everyday muscle and joint fatigue more economically and efficiently. The company focused on enhancing safety and adhesion by using rigorously quality-controlled ingredients alongside ergonomic design. Another key feature is ease of use — consumers can simply apply the patch to the area they need without any complicated steps. As consumer interest in health management has recently shifted from treatment-oriented approaches toward everyday prevention and self-care, healthcare products that can be conveniently used in daily settings such as the home or workplace have grown in importance. In step with this shift, PAINSTUDY plans to continue developing products that allow consumers to manage their own condition. Alongside product development, the company is also expanding its distribution channels. PAINSTUDY has built its consumer base primarily through major domestic e-commerce platforms such as Coupang and Naver Smart Store. With the launch of its new products, the company plans to leverage the experience gained through its existing online sales channels to expand into a variety of offline distribution channels as well, improving consumer access to its products. Over the longer term, PAINSTUDY aims to expand its product portfolio — which began with muscle and joint patches — into a wider range of healthcare categories. The company plans to continuously gather feedback from actual users to inform future product development, with the goal of growing into a comprehensive wellness brand that supports consumers' everyday health management. The company is also pursuing global market entry. Building on the product development and consumer communication experience it has accumulated in the domestic market, PAINSTUDY plans to seek opportunities to introduce its brand overseas. In particular, as global interest in convenient health management and wellness continues to grow, the company intends to gradually introduce its product competitiveness to consumers abroad. "This new product line is the result of the diverse feedback we've gathered through ongoing communication with our customers, combined with our own in-house product development know-how," a PAINSTUDY Inc. representative said. "We will continue to expand our online and offline distribution channels domestically, while also developing follow-up healthcare products and pursuing overseas expansion, to grow into a comprehensive wellness brand that supports consumers' everyday health management."

Xpansiv to Acquire Formbay, Australia's AI-Enabled Renewable Energy Certificate and Compliance Technology Platform
Acquisition strengthens Xpansiv's position in global electricity and environmental markets SYDNEY , Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Xpansiv, the leading infrastructure provider for the global energy transition markets, announced it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Formbay, an Australian company that creates, validates, and trades the certificates issued to support a significant portion of the country's fast-growing rooftop solar and home battery installations. Formbay operates Australia's leading electrification and AI-enabled compliance platform for renewable energy certificates, which is used by retailers, installers, and other market participants to verify installations and manage compliance and payments across solar, batteries, and energy efficiency programs. Supporting around one-quarter of the country's Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs), its systems create almost 100,000 certificates per day or more than 25 million per year, facilitating more than AUD $1 billion in certificate transactions in 2025. The company works with nearly 30,000 registered retailers and installers, handling one in three home solar installations nationally. Xpansiv brings deep experience in renewable energy certificate (REC) markets globally, providing neutral market infrastructure that supports market participants. The company facilitates the creation, management, and monetization of RECs for both distributed and large-scale energy resources, with more than 320 GW of renewable generation capacity registered across more than 60 countries. "Australia has one of the highest rates of rooftop solar in the world, a mature set of small-scale certificate schemes, and a home battery market that is growing rapidly," said John Melby, CEO, Xpansiv. "As a major renewable energy facilitator, we see Formbay as a natural fit within our platform. This acquisition is an important step in our strategy of uniting key energy and environmental market infrastructure in a single global platform." Formbay has developed advanced AI-enabled verification and workflow technologies that help automate the validation of renewable energy assets and certificate creation processes. Combined with Xpansiv's AI-enabled registry, market infrastructure, and data solutions, these capabilities create opportunities to accelerate verification, improve auditability, reduce administrative costs, and scale environmental markets more efficiently. "Formbay has been built alongside Australia's solar and renewable energy industry over more than a decade, and protecting the trust of our retailers and installers has always been incredibly important to us," said Dan Sullivan, Founder and CEO of Formbay. "As we've considered opportunities to grow Formbay, we have been very deliberate about finding the right partner. Xpansiv understands certificate markets, regulators, market participants and, importantly, the technology required to make these markets work at scale. They give Formbay the platform and resources to continue investing in our Australian customers while taking the technology and expertise we've developed here into renewable energy markets around the world. For our customers, this is about a stronger Formbay and the opportunity for us to take them on that journey with us." "The acquisition will unite Xpansiv and Formbay, two Australian-born companies that have built critical infrastructure to scale and accelerate the global energy transition," said Nathan Rockliff, Chief Strategy Officer, Xpansiv, who co-founded the company with Ben Stuart in 2009. "We are excited to advance our global electricity markets presence and significant AI capabilities with Formbay's deep portfolio of proprietary IP, including production-grade AI capabilities. Across Xpansiv, we are increasingly applying AI and automation to solve complex verification, compliance, registry, and multi-party workflow challenges. Formbay brings proven AI capabilities operating at scale in Australia's electrification market, providing a platform we can extend across energy and environmental markets globally." The combination will create new opportunities across Xpansiv's global platform. Formbay customers will benefit from access to Xpansiv's global market infrastructure and deep market expertise, while Formbay's technology and certificate capabilities can be extended into additional products and markets over time. The acquisition will further broaden Xpansiv's strong and growing position in global electricity markets. Around 4% of total global electricity generation and 7% of renewable energy generation are managed through the Xpansiv platform, and about 28% of renewable energy certificates issued globally in 2025 are on its registry network. For Formbay customers, there are no changes planned to day-to-day operations, platform access, pricing, or existing customer relationships. Formbay will continue to operate as the trusted technology and certificate partner to its retailers and installers, now with the backing of a well-capitalized global company and greater resources to invest in technology, customer experience, and new products. Formbay will be Xpansiv's 13th acquisition since 2017, and reflects its longstanding strategy to grow organically and through acquisitions with the goal of building a comprehensive infrastructure platform to support the global energy transition. The acquisition is expected to be immediately accretive to Xpansiv's Adjusted EBITDA upon closing. The acquisition, which is subject to regulatory approval, is expected to close later this year. About Xpansiv Xpansiv is the leading infrastructure provider for the energy transition markets.
