XRP Eyes $8.30 Target As Rare Chart Pattern Emerges From Prolonged Decline
A drop to 83 cents could be the setup XRP investors have been waiting for. Related Reading: Standard Chartered Sees Bitcoin Exploding To $500K By 2030 Crypto analyst Egrag Crypto has identified a falling wedge structure in XRP’s price chart that spans nearly nine months, with the token trading around $1.30 after a prolonged slide. Based on the analysis, XRP may fall further before any significant recovery — but that bottom could mark the start of a sharp move higher, potentially reaching $8.30. Six Painful Months XRP has now posted six straight months of losses, its worst such run since 2014. April is already trending negative, down 1.80% in the first days of the month. If it closes in the red, it would be the seventh consecutive monthly loss — a first in the token’s history. The token peaked at $3.60 in July 2025. Since then, the price has been compressed between two downward-sloping lines — a resistance ceiling above and a support floor below. Each time the price has hit either line, it has reversed course. Reports indicate that level has rejected previous recovery attempts, most recently in early January 2026 when the price hit $2.41 and pulled back sharply. A similar rejection at $1.80 would send the price downward again. From there, the projected path leads to approximately 83 cents — the point where the wedge’s lower support line meets a long-term upward trendline the analyst calls the Atlas Line. That level is described as the major floor for the current structure. Data from the chart shows XRP could then bounce back above $1.00, dip once more to around 91 cents to retest support, and then begin a larger move upward. If that sequence plays out, the breakout target lands at $8.30. The wedge has already absorbed several significant price swings. During a market selloff on October 10, 2025, XRP fell from $2.80 down to $1.36, touching the lower trendline. The price bounced from that level. In early February 2026, another drop brought the token to $1.11 before support held again. According to Egrag’s analysis, a close above $1.80 on the upper resistance line would break the wedge pattern and cancel the current setup entirely. We’ve worked together throughout the years on lots of different projects, whether that's music, Cactus Jack work, or Nike work. We’ve stayed friends through it all. He’s always been a day one supporter of everything I’ve done at Alyx and Givenchy, and vice versa. So it just comes really effortlessly, and it’s been really easy to build together.I just spent the last week with him in LA, hearing his new album, hearing where his head was at with the brand, and hearing all the Cactus Jack projects that they've been releasing. His music is just sounding next level. I can't wait for the world to hear that. I'm really excited to get to build and create with such a good friend of mine, and just continue to bring other creatives into our network to build one of the strongest creative teams in the world. The second is that at Oakley, we always say we create for the future and deliver to the present. Matthew is a person who is trying to create the new, the unheard, the unseen. At the same time, he's very good at turning the unseen into pieces that people want to express themselves in, so it’s not like he is living in the clouds with crazy ideas. He delivers crazy ideas, but he has the ability to bring those ideas to the ground and make them accessible.Matthew, with your extensive background in high fashion design and Oakley’s sportswear expertise now comingling, how do those two worlds merge?MMW: To me, Oakley isn’t a fashion brand. Oakley started as a motorcycle distributor, making rubber grips, and then expanded into making motorcycle goggles, taking inspiration from wanting greater side vision. The first set of frames that he created had more visibility; he was solving problems and innovating since the beginning. It was an eyewear brand, and then the clothing expanded from that. It can be over a year, a year and a half to develop true performance and new products. We're going to look and see what we can do to see if we can get something out to the world a little bit quicker, but that's all TBD, but don’t worry, you’ll know. I will let everybody know when the product that I've been working on is coming out into the world. Revolut, the fintech hiring 0.15% of applicants, raised pay
Revolut is going from strength to strength. It revealed earlier this month that it finally secured its UK banking license , and now has revealed that revenue was up 46% last year. Revolut hired over 1,500 people last year, growing its headcount to 10,909 according to its 2025 annual report published this week. Headcount was up in each of its divisions with the notable exception of customer operations, which got rid of 274 people last year. The bank has been automating that function, and partnered with ElevenLabs, which provides AI voice agents, this January. That doesn't mean they were fired; Revolut said in the report that it launched an internal mobility system via its performance management tool 'Revolut People.' 893 employees transitioned to "other business areas." Revolut received a total of 1.7 million job applications last year; this suggests the bank had an application acceptance rate of just 0.15% for the 2,470 roles it filled internally and externally. Despite the rise in headcount, compensation per head increased 5.6% to £70.6k ($95k). This was primarily driven by a rise in salaries and wages. It might suggest that Revolut's new hires in 2025 are high earners, but the report also noted that Revolut "had 1,555 promotions and a further 5,946 progressing into the next sub-seniority," which may have come with pay-rises. Among those promoted were three new Revolut partners. They include Artsiom Yancheuski, Revolut's head of Python engineering and Julia Ponomareva, Revolut's director of customer experience and AI products (who played a role in the bank's deal with ElevenLabs ). XRP Price Is Maintaining This Multi-Year Trendline, But A Crash Could Be Looming
Following the recent market trend, the XRP price has maintained its hold on an important trendline over the years. This trendline leans bullish, and as long as the cryptocurrency holds above it, the likelihood of a recovery remains high. However, a break below this multi-year trendline could signal doom, with crypto analyst CrypFlow forecasting how low the digital asset could go before eventually finding a bottom. Bears Threaten XRP’s Multi-Year Trendline According to crypto analyst CrypFlow, the XRP multi-year trendline that began back in the year 2017 is currently still in play. In fact, with the price trading well above the $1.2 level, it continues to hold up well. So far, this has suggested that bulls still have some strength left, and this trendline has been a beacon. This breakout would not only need to happen, but it would need to do so with momentum. As CrypFlow explains, for momentum to follow, the XRP price needs to do two things. The first of these is that the XRP price needs to break out of the descending resistance. This descending resistance had begun back in 2025, continuing on into 2026. As long as this resistance remains, the price remains bearish. But a break towards $2 invalidates it. Next on the list is that the XRP RSI downtrend needs to be broken as well. A breakout above $2 will complete this, ensuring that there is enough momentum for the cryptocurrency to follow. Such a move, the crypto analyst believes, would send the XRP price toward its 2018 highs of $3.8. However, in the case that the bulls are unable to complete a breakout within moments, then the bears could take control once again. Such a scenario would see the price lose its multi-year trend and eventually fall below $1. Blizzard's quality assurance workers finally have a union contract
Almost three years after starting the bargaining process with Microsoft, quality assurance workers at two Blizzard locations have ratified a union contract. The agreement covers 60 workers at Blizzard Albany and Blizzard Austin.The agreement includes guaranteed pay increases across the three years of the contract, assurances that workers will be given fair credits and recognition on games that ship, discrimination-free disability accommodations, restrictions on crunch (i.e. mandatory overtime) and "protection to immigrant workers from unfair discipline and loss of seniority while streamlining legal verification." Stronger rules around the use of AI are included in the contract as well. “At a time when layoffs are hitting our industry hard, today is another big step in building a better future for video game workers at every level,” Blizzard Albany quality analyst Brock Davis said in a statement. “For quality assurance testers, this contract provides us wages to live on, increased job security benefits and guardrails around artificial intelligence in the workplace.”As with other unions in Microsoft's game divisions, the Blizzard QA workers organized with the Communications Workers of America. This marks the third union agreement at Microsoft after ZeniMax and Raven Software workers ratified contracts last summer.
