DODIK ALLOCATES SHARE OF PRIZE MONEY TO SOC AND SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION

ELGIN, MAY 1 /SRNA/ – President Milorad Dodik has stated that part of the monetary Leadership and Democracy Advocacy Award presented to him by Judson University will be donated to the Serbian Orthodox Church /SOC/ in the United States. Dodik added that he also intends to allocate part of the award funds to a foundation at Judson University in Elgin that supports the education of students from lower-income backgrounds. "I am proud and grateful for this recognition. Thank you", Dodik said in a brief address after receiving the award. Dodik was presented with the award for the courage required for leadership and commitment to national sovereignty and democratic principles, given by Judson University in the US city of Elgin. He attended the World Leaders Forum "Advancing Democracy".
