New Ireland Provincial By-election Primary Count completed as counting moves to elimination stage

The primary counting for the New Ireland Provincial by-election was officially completed at 6pm this evening following the aggregation and quality check of results from all 10 Local Level Governments (LLGs).According to the 6pm update from the Electoral Commission, the aggregated totals after quality checks show Byron Chan leading the count with 19,280 votes, followed by Kepas Aruban Wali on 12,551 votes.
