Pedestrian in hospital after being hit by car

A man was taken to hospital after he was hit by a car in Zabbar on Wednesday afternoon, the police said. The man, aged 54 of Zabbar, was hit by a Toyota Starlet driven by a 28-year-old man who resides in the same locality. The pedestrian was taken to hospital with grievous injuries. The accident took place in Triq Sant'Antnin at 6.30pm.
