Tricycle drivers in Caloocan, Malabon, and Navotas Cities are set to receive P5,000 cash assistance from the national government to help ease the impact of rising fuel prices.The subsidy will be provided through the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) as part of efforts to support the transport sector.In Caloocan City, the local government urged transport sector members to register through the official link for the fuel subsidy program, with payout schedules to be announced once finalized by the DSWD.In Malabon City, more than 700 tricycle drivers have already benefited from the program.**media[86712]**Meanwhile, a payout will also be conducted in Navotas City, one of the designated distribution sites in Metro Manila.Qualified drivers may verify their inclusion in the list of beneficiaries through their TODA presidents or the city’s franchising office.Drivers are required to present a valid driver’s license and a photocopy during the payout at the Navotas Convention Center.The local government said that the first batch of beneficiaries will receive assistance from 6 a.m. to 12 noon, covering 803 drivers, while the second batch from 12 noon to 5 p.m. will cover 802 drivers.
