Man grievously injured in accident involving five cars

A man was grievously injured on Friday afternoon when two cars collided and crashed into three parked vehicles, the police said Saturday.The accident took place in Triq it-Turisti, St Paul's Bay, at 5.30pm.It involved a Renault Megane driven by a 70-year-old man from Valletta and an Audi S5 driven by a 27-year-old man from St Paul's Bay.The impact led to another three cars which were parked on the road to be damaged.The police said the 27-year-old man was taken to hospital with grievous injuries.
