GRIDCo reiterates September 12 deadline for all occupants of pylon right-of-way to vacate

The Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) has reminded all persons, businesses, land users, and other entities currently engaged in activities which encroach on high voltage transmission line Right-of-Way (RoW) across the country of the September 12, 2026 deadline to vacate. According to GRIDCo, after the expiration of the deadline, it will work with relevant statutory institutions to enforce the law and remove all unauthorised structures and activities from the transmission line Right-of-Way.
