REasy, AGL Pilot One-Stop Payment and Logistics Service for China Imports

On October 1, 2026, REasy and Africa Global Logistics (AGL) presented a service that combines supplier payments and shipping for small importers buying goods from China, Cameroon’s largest source of imports. The service was presented to traders and importers in Douala, as the two companies move to expand a pilot launched earlier this year. The partnership itself is not new. REasy and AGL announced their collaboration on May 6, after the first consolidated container under the pilot arrived in Douala on April 29. The October meeting marked a further step in extending the service to small importers, while the offering remains in a pilot phase. The two companies split the process between payments and logistics. Importers initiate supplier payments through REasy, using documents such as a pro forma invoice, while the fintech provides the payment infrastructure and serves as the main point of contact. AGL then handles cargo consolidation in China, international transport and logistics in Cameroon, allowing several importers to share space in the same container instead of arranging separate shipments.
