The July 2026 Bangladesh Humanitarian Bulletin highlights efforts to strengthen resilience and preparedness against climate and health emergencies. Key areas include expanded cash assistance for vulnerable households, the scaling up of anticipatory action across multiple hazards, and a coordinated response to the nationwide measles outbreak. Timely cash assistance helped flood-affected small-scale farmers in the Haor region recover livelihoods, while revised cash transfer values were introduced to better reflect rising household costs and improve response effectiveness. Anticipatory Action expanded significantly , with 24 frameworks covering eight hazards, backed by US$37.5 million in pre-arranged financing and designed to reach more than 6.1 million people in high-risk areas. Bangladesh scaled up its measles response , vaccinating approximately 18.3 million children nationwide and strengthening surveillance, treatment, and community outreach to contain the outbreak affecting all 64 districts.
