Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku has paid a working visit to the national U-15 boys team as they continue preparations for the maiden FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival.The tournament is scheduled to take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from October 22 to 31, 2026.Okraku used the visit to interact with the young players and technical team as Ghana steps up preparations for the historic tournament.The GFA President encouraged the players to remain focused and disciplined as they prepare to represent the country on the international stage.“Go well, boys. Represent Ghana with pride, discipline and determination,” Okraku said in a message to the team.Ghana’s participation in the inaugural FIFA U-15 World Cup and Festival provides an important opportunity for the young players to gain international experience and showcase their talent on a global stage.The tournament in Baku will bring together young footballers as part of FIFA’s new initiative focused on youth football development and competition.
