Mothers receive grants to fight malnutrition

Mothers in Kundiawa Gembogl District received their first grant of K180 on Friday 13th February 2026 as part of the Child Nutrition and Social Protection (CNSP) program aimed at combating malnutrition and stunted growth in children under five. The program is a collaborative effort between the PNG Department of Health, NextGen, UNICEF, Save the Children and funded by the World Bank.Speaking to Post-Courier Online, a grant recipient said she used the grant to buy fresh vegetables and nutritional products for her baby as per the advice of the health workers during registration.
