​Un logo pour les Marquises
Tahiti, le 11 février 2026 - Depuis l'inscription des Îles Marquises au patrimoine mondial de l'Unesco en 2024, l’identité visuelle des Marquises évolue. Le nouveau logo “Te Henua Enata - Les Îles Marquises” qui célèbre l’héritage de l’archipel a été dévoilé la semaine dernière. “Dans chaque trait se dessine l'âme de nos îles : l'Enata tourné vers le futur, le Ha'e évoquant nos maisons traditionnelles, le soleil aux neuf rayons représentant nos îles habitées ou non, la profondeur spirituelle représentée par le puits sacré, et le paepae symbolisant la continuité et l'ancrage de notre peuple”, explique la Codim sur les réseaux sociaux. Un symbole fort qui unit tradition et modernité, visible et invisible, passé et présent. Le patrimoine mondial reconnaît aujourd'hui ce que nous avons toujours su : Te Henua Enata est unique. Déjà au cœur du premier emblème de la candidature, le logo a été enrichi pour refléter le nouveau statut des Marquises, inscrites au patrimoine mondial de l’Unesco. Un logo en cinq points Le nouveau logo des Îles Marquises se décline en cinq points. Le premier, Enata, symbolise l’homme vivant. Le Hae reprend la structure d’une maison marquisienne. Les éléments architecturaux rappellent les îles habitées. Les poteaux de la fondation pour Ua Pou, les chevrons de la toiture pour Nuku Hiva, les palmes de la couverture pour Fatu Hiva et la poutre faîtière pour Hiva Oa. Le soleil et ses neuf rayons représentent les neuf îles du bien Unesco, habitées ou non, mais également Tahuata et le ao (monde des hommes). Le puits sacré (ua huma) illustre la profondeur spirituelle de l’archipel et rappelle que la culture marquisienne unit le visible et l’invisible, le passé et l’avenir. Enfin, le paepae renforce la structure du logo en rappelant les fondations en pierre des maisons marquisiennes. Il symbolise la stabilité, l’ancrage et la continuité du peuple sur son territoire.
