Short Track-Dutch skater Xandra Velzeboer sets women's 500 metres world record

MILAN, Feb 12 : Dutch skater Xandra Velzeboer set a short track world record in the women's 500 metres semifinal at the Milano Cortina Olympics on Thursday, breaking her own record.Velzeboer posted a time of 41.399 seconds, bettering the previous world record she set in Salt Lake City in 2022.
