Appointment scandal: Presidency silent on provision for disputed council in 2026 budget

A total of N1.3 billion was allocated to the disputed Presidential Economic Advisory Council/Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council in the 2026 budget. Checks by Daily Trust revealed that the council was captured on pages 50 and 51 of the 2026 budget with an allocation of N1,302,978,784.
