HIGHLIGHTS: • A total of 62 confirmed dengue fever cases since the last report; including 2 new cases. • Age group, gender, and island distribution remain unchanged, with the majority of cases reported among age group 11 – 14years, predominantly male, and highest in Tongatapu Island. • One case is currently hospitalized at Princess Fusipala Hospital, Ha’apai. • No dengue- related death reported to date. • Dengue virus serotype 2 (DENV-2).
