Reliefweb english top politics

Country: South Sudan Sources: Concern Worldwide, World Food Programme Please refer to the attached file. The Concern Worldwide Accountability to Affected Populations project, supported by WFP, aims at creating a bottom-up feedback and communication mechanism between responders and people we serve, that is community-based, easily accessible, and built on mutual understanding and genuine information-sharing. Through local responders and community correspondents, Concern Worldwide, Community Engagement Network (hereafter: CEN), and the Radio Community (hereafter: TRC) work together to set up a complete community feedback mechanism that is accessible to all participants regardless of their literacy levels and access to assets and internet. Using TRCs and CEN’s longstanding experience in radio broadcasting, the project ensures a wide outreach beyond people with access to written updates. Together, and alongside WFP, the project partners respond to information and feedback gaps. This way, and by consolidating and sharing the feedback received, the project increases accountability to affected populations in the targetedareas.
