Venezuela opposition leader: I will return to the country to help with earthquake relief efforts

Venezuela’s opposition leader, María Corina Machado, who is currently in Panama, declared on Monday that she is ready to do whatever it takes to return to her country and join rescue efforts following the severe earthquakes that struck the nation.

Machado accused the current Venezuelan government of forcibly preventing her from returning to her homeland to support and coordinate civic efforts during the ongoing emergency.
